For years, people have taken used monitors and other electronics to Kent’s Total Reclaim, falsely believing that their gear was being responsibly recycled. But that wasn’t the case. Instead, LCD monitors were being shipped to Hong Kong and smashed by workers there, causing toxic chemicals to be released into the air.
