Six right wing, Republican-appointed members of the United States Supreme Court have wrongly decided that Presidents enjoy “absolute immunity” for core constitutional powers, and are entitled to “at least presumptive immunity” for other official actions. The decision, in NPI’s view, represents the Court’s latest attack on American democracy and the rule of law.
